Xloop looks like a simple ceramic band. Inside it is a complete sensing system, sealed and sized to sit on your finger day and night. This is a look at what those sensors measure and what you get from them.

Why the finger

The finger has dense blood vessels close to the skin, and a ring sits snugly in one place. That makes it a steady spot for optical health readings — and because Xloop is light and thin, it is easy to wear while you sleep, when many of the most useful readings happen.

What Xloop measures

• **Heart rate**an optical sensor on the inside of the band reads your pulse through the skin, around the clock.
• **Heart rate variability (HRV)**the small changes between heartbeats, a widely used signal of recovery and strain.
• **Blood oxygen**estimates of blood oxygen saturation, shown in the app alongside your other trends.
• **Sleep**duration and sleep stages, built from movement and heart signals overnight.
• **Stress and mood**daily indicators derived from your heart and HRV patterns, to help you notice how your days feel over time.
• **Cycle tracking**logging and insights for menstrual cycles in the app.
