Introducing Loop

A titanium health ring that measures your heart, recovery, sleep and body clock around the clock — quietly, beautifully, and without a subscription.

Loop is the Alexi health and fashion smart ring. It was designed around one idea: the most useful technology is the kind you forget you are wearing. Loop measures your heart, recovery, sleep and activity continuously and passively, day and night, from a ring that looks like jewellery rather than a gadget. There is nothing to press and nothing to remember — you put it on, and it starts to understand you.

The most useful technology is the kind you forget you are wearing.

Continuous, passive health tracking

Most wearables ask something of you: open an app, start a workout, tap a button. Loop is built the other way round. Its sensors sit on the inner surface of the ring, against the skin at the base of your finger, and work in the background so the data is there when you want it.

Heart rate, 24/7

Loop measures your heart rate around the clock. Over days and weeks that continuous record becomes a picture of your normal — how your heart behaves when you rest, when you move and when you sleep — so that changes stand out.

Heart rate variability (HRV) for recovery

HRV is the small variation in time between heartbeats. Loop tracks it so you can see how well you are recovering, and use that to decide whether today is a day to push or a day to take it easy.

Blood oxygen

Loop measures blood oxygen overnight and on demand, adding another layer of context to your sleep and recovery data.

Stress and temperature

Stress tracking helps you see when the day is getting on top of you, and skin temperature trends add further context to your sleep and recovery. When you need a reset, the app is ready with guided meditation and calming audio.

Sleep and your body clock

Sleep is where Loop does some of its most valuable work. Integrated sensors are combined with AI processing to map your sleep cycles through the night. Over time, Loop goes further than a nightly score: it identifies your circadian chronotype — whether your body naturally leans towards earlier or later rhythms — and gives you personalised insights to help you plan your day around it and improve long-term sleep quality.

Because a ring is far less intrusive than a watch, it is easy to wear in bed. That is what makes the overnight data meaningful: you actually keep it on.

Activity and well-being

Loop detects walking and running automatically, so your movement is logged without starting anything. It also records steps, calories and distance and supports multiple sport modes. When the goal is calm rather than effort, the in-app guided meditation and soothing music library help you reduce stress and refocus.

Built from titanium, shaped for 24/7 wear

The frame is titanium alloy — light, strong and hypoallergenic, so it suits sensitive skin. A Diamond-Like Carbon finish adds scratch resistance and keeps fingerprints off the surface, so the ring still looks like jewellery after months of daily wear. The inner surface is curved to sit comfortably against the finger, during sleep and workouts alike.

Loop is rated IP67, so hand-washing, rain and splashes are no problem. For heavy weightlifting or high-impact sports, we recommend taking it off to protect the surface and the sensors.

Three finishes

Black is understated and graphic. Silver is the classic, clean tone of brushed metal. Gold is warm and quietly luxurious. All three share the same titanium frame and the same sensors — the choice is purely about how you like to wear it.

Battery and charging

A single charge lasts between 5 and 10 days depending on how you use it. Loop comes with a dedicated magnetic charging case: drop the ring in, and it aligns and charges. The case is made of alloy and travels easily.

The app: free, complete, private by design

Everything Loop measures syncs to the free Alexi app on iOS and Android, with Apple Health integration on iPhone. There are no monthly fees: your purchase includes full access to the app and all basic health data tracking.

Loop does not support NFC payments. It is focused entirely on health tracking and insight.

Finding your size

Loop comes in US sizes 6 to 13. For reference, US 8 is 57.2 mm, US 9 is 59.5 mm, US 10 is 62.1 mm, US 11 is 64.6 mm and US 12 is 67.2 mm. Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are slightly larger, and choose the finger you want to wear it on — most people prefer the index finger for the best sensor contact. A printable sizing guide is available on our sizing page.

A note on sensors: very dark tattoos or pigmentation on the finger can affect optical sensor readings. For best results, wear Loop on a finger with clear skin.

Quality and certification

Loop carries CE marking for EU standards, FCC compliance with a Declaration of Conformity for electromagnetic compatibility, and RoHS compliance for hazardous-substance limits. It is covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and Loop Care adds one free replacement ring per year — including accidental damage — for 80 per year.

Designed in Lugano

Alexi is a Swiss technology company based in Lugano, Switzerland. Loop reflects how we think technology should feel: calm, precise and made to last. Loop is a wellness device, not a medical device — it is there to help you understand your habits, not to diagnose.

Loop is available now in Black, Silver and Gold.

A day with Loop

Morning: you wake up and open the app. Last night's sleep is already mapped — light, deep and REM stages, how long you took to fall asleep, and how your heart rate and HRV behaved overnight. Your recovery picture tells you whether your body is ready for a demanding day.

Daytime: you don't do anything. Loop counts steps, distance and calories, notices when you start walking or running and logs it automatically, and keeps a continuous heart-rate record in the background. If stress builds, you can see it, and a guided meditation or calming track is one tap away.

Evening: Loop keeps tracking as you wind down. Because it is light and has no screen to glow at you, it stays on through the night — which is exactly when much of its most useful data is collected.

How to read your data

The most valuable number is rarely a single reading; it is the trend. A slightly higher resting heart rate or a dip in HRV on one morning means little on its own. The same pattern over several days — especially after poor sleep, travel, intense training or illness — is a signal worth listening to. Loop is designed to make those patterns visible so you can adjust your sleep, training and recovery with context rather than guesswork.

Loop is a wellness product, not a medical device. Its readings are meant to help you understand your habits, not to diagnose or treat any condition. If something in your data worries you, talk to a doctor.

Getting accurate readings

  • Wear Loop snuglyit should not spin freely, but it should slide over your knuckle without force.
  • Most people get the best results on the index, middle or ring finger.
  • Keep the sensors on the inner surface clean and in contact with the skin.
  • Wear it overnight consistently — the more nights Loop sees, the better it understands your normal.
  • Tattoos and darker skin tones can affect optical sensors on any wearable; keeping a snug fit helps.

Caring for your ring

Titanium and the DLC finish are built for everyday wear, but a few habits keep Loop looking new. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Rinse off soap, sunscreen or lotion with clean water. Remove it for heavy weightlifting, climbing or anything where it might be crushed or knocked against metal. Store it in its charging case when you take it off, so it stays protected and topped up.

Loop Care

For extra peace of mind, Loop Care covers one free replacement Loop per year — including accidental damage — for 80 per year. Shipping is not included in the plan price. See the Loop Care page for details.

Who Loop is for

Loop suits anyone who wants a clear picture of their sleep, recovery and activity without wearing a watch: people who find watches uncomfortable in bed, people who want jewellery rather than a gadget, and people who want health insight without a subscription. If you also want a display in the band, gesture control and Wi-Fi, take a look at Loop Ultra.
